In the off-chance that your roof needs repairs under or around the solar arrays, we’ll come safely unplug everything and then plug it back in after the roofing work is complete. Always consult a professional solar installer about modifications to your solar array – if an unqualified contractor makes any changes, you could be voiding your warranty! Roofers do important work, but most of them aren’t solar installers (or vice versa – the exception being us here at ESP). It’s best to be diligent by contacting an organization like Energy Service Partners if you need to make roof repairs when you have a solar installation.

Each roof space where panels are installed is considered one array or “mounting plane” (MP), as long as the panels are contiguous (touching each other). If you have more than 9 different roof spaces/MP’s, or a total system size greater than 20kW (usually about 60+ panels), then we can provide a custom quote with one of our specialists.

Please note that this service is only available for solar electric arrays or photovoltaic (PV) panels. It is not offered for hydronic/hot water, solar thermal, or any other form of solar other than PV.
